A customer came in with these two pretty little oil paintings that he bought in a charity shop. He wanted to replace the battered old frames with something much more contemporary and he chose this very stylish, highly iridescent, deep gold & beech moulding. He very much left us to it from that point and so we forward mounted the paintings and set them to the back of this deep frame. We wanted to make the paintings really stand out, so we used a dark brown multiple mount combination with a tiny flash of gold and the customer was absolutely delighted with the finished frames and was very excited to get home and put them on the his wall.
A new frame can make a huge difference to a tired old painting - don't hide it away, give it a new lease of life and just re-frame it.
